PlayStation VR Exclusive ‘Golem’ Will Finally Release This Fall
Golem finally gets a fall 2019 release for the PSVR.
After some initial setbacks since it was unveiled way back in 2015 and then a postponed release date in March 2018, indie studio Highwire Game is very pleased to announce that their long-awaited PSVR title Golem will release this fall, launching both digitally and physically in North America and Europe.
The title was first announced at PlayStation Experience 2015, and following that the game was set to launch in March last year, but unfortunately due to the team wanting to release a polished VR experience that they were proud of it ended up getting delayed. Thankfully (fingers crossed) the wonderful looking title will be playable at some stage this autumn. The studio has yet to release an exact date, but I’m fairly sure that will be coming sooner rather than later.
Golem tells the tale of Twine, a child who has been left critically injured by a serious accident and has been confined to their bed. The player then takes control over Twine as they develop an extraordinary ability to create and control large stone golems and see the world through their eyes.
