PlayStation VR Launch Bundle’s Second Pre-order Wave Sells Out in 22 Minutes on Amazon

on March 24, 2016 5:12 PM

The first wave of PlayStation VR pre-orders on the American Amazon store sold out in only five minutes, and today Sony’s virtual reality headset was available with a second wave announced yesterday.

Apparently, the offer for the device still didn’t fully meet the demand, but it’s getting closer. The available allocation took much longer to evaporate. It sold out after about 22 minutes, returning the following message.

Of course we also have to consider the fact that many are probably waiting to be able to pre-order the headset on its own.

At the moment, it’s unknown whether more batches will be available for pre-order in the near future, but if you missed it this time around, you will soon get another chance with pre-ordering the core set without the controllers, the camera and the game on March 29th.
