Today, developer Secret Sorcery announced that its strategy, god game Tethered, which launched onto PlayStation VR this October, is getting a free demo. But it gets better. The demo is available starting today.

The demo is an enhanced version of the game's "hugely popular" EGX show build, and has a file size of 671 MB. According to Scott Kirkland, Managing Director & Programmer at Secret Sorcery, the team has received many request for a playable demo to help folks decides whether or not the game is for them. Kirkland acknowledges that there is an abundance of great games during this time of year, and so Secret Sorcery wants to help folks spend their hard-earned holiday gaming budget wisely.

To accompany the demo, Secret Sorcery has also created the “Tethered Divine Edition” bundle, which includes the game, its soundtrack – written, performed and produced by 5x Academy nominated composer and sound designer, Kenny Young, and a Tethered dynamic theme, with multi-layered parallax concept art, ambient animation, island icons and sublime musical accompaniment. The Tethered Divine Edition costs $37.99 USD, five more dollars than the base game.

Personally, Tethered is my favorite PlayStation VR game I've played, and I highly recommend checking out the demo, especially if you like god-like games, or just strategy games.
