Indie developer PolyKid and publisher Alliance Digital Media fully unveiled Poi: Explorer Edition for Nintendo Switch today, after announcing the port back in June. The game will release both physically and digitally for $29.99 on October 23.

For those of you who don't know, Poi is a 3D platformer that is inspired by classics such as Super Mario 64. If follows two kids trying to become "Master Explorers"; to do so, they venture across their world searching for the lost medallions of an old explorer in their sky-ship. The game contains over 100 medallions, which are spread out across a variety of worlds.

Poi: Explorer Edition on Nintendo Switch includes some extra content to justify the higher price tag. The Switch version of the game comes with new tough boss battles, additional character costumes, the game's soundtrack, and a digital art book. The developers also revealed that Poi: Explorer Edition will support the Joy-Con's motion controls, though they did not say how exactly they will be used in game.

You can check out the port's first official trailer, which shows off a variety of the game's different environments, below. Poi is currently available on PC, PS4, and Xbox One, and Poi: Explorer Edition will launch in both retail stores and the Nintendo eShop on October 23.
