I'm certain almost all Nintendo 3DS owners have at least heard of Pokedex 3D, the free Pokemon collecting app that launched a few months after the handheld itself. Well, that app is getting a sequel titled Pokemon 3D Pro and, unlike its predecessor, it will not be free. This app was announced for Japan a little while ago but has just been confirmed for release in North America and Europe.

Unlike the measly 150+ you can collect in Pokedex 3D, Pokedex 3D Pro will include every Pokemon ever created. You won't have to be bothered to collect them either, because they'll all be available from the start. Having all of those Pokemon (there are well over six hundred at this point, if memory serves) in 3D does sound pretty awesome, and it gives me faith that Pokemon Stadium 3D will come to pass eventually, but I don't know how much I'd paid for the app.

Pokedex 3D Pro will be available this Fall, most likely around the time Pokemon Black and White 2 release.
