After the rousing success of last year’s Pokemon X & Y on 3DS, the Pokemon series is bringing plenty of new titles this year with the third-generation remakes Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire, alongside a more lighthearted and “artistic” project, Pokemon Art Academy – luckily, the Academy will be session this fall.

Nintendo announced that Pokemon Art Academy will be releasing for 3DS on October 24th, 2014, with the new Pokemon title set to teach players how to draw the numerous pocket monsters that fans of the series have grown to love for over a decade. Taking the instructional lessons from Art Academy and mixing in the various characters and creatures from the Pokemon series, the game will include tutorial lessons on how to draw various characters, along with other modes for unrestricted creativity like Free Paint and Quick Sketch.

Pokemon Art Academy releases for 3DS on October 24th, 2014.
