Pokemon Black & White Continue Taking Over the World

By Kenneth Richardson

April 4, 2011

Apparently, the sales domination of Pokemon Black & White has only just begin. The combined sales of the US and EU versions of both games has cleared three million units. The games have become an unprecedented global phenomenon.

Despite this marvelous feat, the titles still have not managed to surpass their unbelievable performance in Japan, where they sold more than five million copies and became last year’s best selling Japanese releases. It will probably do just as well outside of Japan in due time, if these numbers are any indication.

Will Pokemon’s reign of terror and remarkably high sales ever end? I can’t answer that. I can however point you to our review of Pokemon B&W, here.
