The Pokemon Center in Shibuya, Tokyo has new lines of merchandise coming to their storefront. The first line of merch is branded as Pokemon GO Lab (based off the popular mobile game of course) and includes shirts, hats, ID Card Case, and other little goodies:

There's also the first Galar non-starter/Legendary plush line, which has been announced to be coming to the same Pokemon Center at an unspecified date:

The news was revealed on Joe Merrick's Twitter account, the webmaster of Serebii. Also, let me just say that Wooloo is mine because seriously, who can resist such a cute Pokemon like that? Regardless it'll be interesting what new items they introduce next to the brand new stores.

Pokemon Center Shibuya commemorated its grand opening with some excellent merch. Said goodies are based on exclusive "Graffiti" themed artwork of the mascot Pikachu and include plushies, clothes, keychains, and more. The storefront also opened the same day as Nintendo Tokyo, so its selling collaboration Mario merch made out of Pokemon sprite art, while Nintendo Tokyo is selling Pokemon merch made up of Mario sprite. The Pokemon Center also featured a giant Mewtwo in an incubation chamber as an awesome opening day display.

Another collaboration with Swarovski features a brand new and absolutely stunning "Crystal Stone" collection. There’s a large Pikachu decked out in tons of Swarovski crystals, bag charms with Poke Ball and Pikachu motifs, smartphone cases designed with Mewtwo and Mew, and a Pokemon card game deck case made of genuine leather.

Elsewhere, there’s currently a Pokemon Center London popup store that’s selling strictly Pokemon merchandise. And the only other Nintendo store is located in New York, US. Recently a stylish 25th anniversary Pikachu watch was revealed, as part of a collaboration between Japanese watch brand BABY-G and The Pokemon Company, which reveals a constant: that great Pikachu merch will continue to flow from our corporate overlords.

In recent news, Pokemon Sword and Shield are already the eighth best-selling Nintendo Switch games of all time at six million units sold during its launch weekend alone. Check out pictures of the game’s launch event held at Nintendo NYC.

Pokemon Sword and Shield just released for Nintendo Switch on November 15th. Meanwhile check out our in-depth review for the game here, in which the News Editor states that "Pokemon Sword and Shield are a lot of fun, even if the series is experiencing growing pains with the transition to home consoles."
