Funko’s New Pokemon Collection ‘An Afternoon with Eevee & Friends’ Announced

A new collection of Funko Pokemon figures has been announced and will feature a new Eevee evolution every month until October.

Remember back when players were forced to choose between Pokemon Let’s GO: Pikachu and Pokemon Let’s GO: Eevee? Well, last year we saw the Pokémon Center release a Funko collection called ‘A Day With Pikachu’ which saw a new Pikachu figure released every month showing the little cuteness celebrating a different season or holiday. The Pokémon Center has announced that 2020 will see another monthly collection, only this time focused on Eevee and its numerous evolutions.

The new collection is titled ‘An Afternoon with Eevee & Friends’ and will see a new figure being released every month from February until October 2020. Similarly to the Pikachu collection, each figure sold will form an entire collection and will cost $14.99 per figure.

According to Pokémon Center, quantities will, to no surprise, be limited and so customers are advised to check the website or subscribe to the newsletter to be informed on when the next figures become available.

February 18 will see the first Eevee figure become available and features two cute Eevee’s set atop grassy land with some flowers. Cute eh? The rest of the collection will feature different variations of the Pokemon evolutions as listed below.

  • February: Eevee
  • March: Vaporeon
  • April: Sylveon
  • May: Glaceon
  • June: Flareon
  • July: Espeon
  • August: Jolteon
  • September: Leafeon
  • October: Umbreon

Funko's New Pokemon Collection 'An Afternoon with Eevee & Friends' Announced

The image above shows off the already revealed February figure with the other figures surrounding it to give you an idea of what they’d look like. Additionally, you can see the silhouettes on the official store page. The Pikachu collection did include an insert that came with each figure to tease the upcoming figures so I’d expect the same with this collection.

Personally speaking, I much prefer these Funko figures more than the Funko Pop! versions. What are your thoughts on this new Eevee collection? Will you be grabbing a figure while they’re available?
