While it may not be at the same level of cultural phenomenon that it was when it debuted in summer 2016, Pokemon GO still continues to deliver new events and challenges for players to take on month after month, with the next Raid battles in the game bringing the time-bending Legendary Pokemon, Dialga.

Developer Niantic provided a new update that Dialga will be the next Legendary Pokemon that players can take on in the game throughout the month of March, starting at 1pm PT on March 1 and ending at the same time on March 28.

Much like its first appearance in Diamond & Pearl, Dialga will utilize its powerful combinations of abilities that include the ability to manipulate time, with Niantic recommending that players include Ground and Fighting-type Pokemon on their teams to be able to take down Dialga in next month's Raids.

As with previous Raids, players will be able to band together to take on particularly challenging bosses, with past events featuring many other Legendaries up for the task of battling against high-level Trainers.

Outside of Dialga coming to Raid battles next month, other new features that the game has implemented recently has included the new Go Snapshot mode that allows players to take their own screenshots featuring Pokemon that they've caught. At the moment, the new feature is only available to Android users at Level 5, but (presumably) the feature will eventually roll out to iOS and a larger amount of players over time.

Pokemon GO is available now on iOS and Android.
