The Season of Heritage kicked off last week in Pokemon GO and now it's really getting going with the Dragonspiral Descent event, which has its own Collection Challenge for you to complete.

Collection Challenges were introduced around a year ago with the celebration of the various regions in the Pokemon games.

These challenges require you to get all of the Pokemon listed to get the rewards, with some being much harder than others to complete.

Which Pokemon Are Required for the Dragonspiral Descent Collection Challenge And How Can You Find Them?

The Dragonspiral Descent event kicks off on Tuesday, December 7 at 10:00 am local time and will run through Sunday, December 1`2 at 8:00 pm local time.

During this time, you will have access to the Dragonspiral Descent Collection Challenge and be able to try and earn some useful rewards.

To complete this Collection Challenge, you will have to catch at least one of each of the following Pokemon.

  • Trapinch
  • Vibrava
  • Mareep
  • Seel
  • Vulpix
  • Dratini
  • Dragonair
  • Darumaka
  • Blitzle
  • Sneasel

All of these Pokemon will be able to be found in the wild, with boosted spawns for all of them making this easier.

In addition, there will be special field research that will reward you with Dratini, Vulpix, and Sneasel at least.

What Are The Rewards For The Latest Collection Challenge?

Each of the Pokemon GO Collection Challenges rewards players with a special medal specific to that challenge, which is also the case here.

In addition, you also get a set of rewards this time that includes 1,000 XP, 3,000 Stardust, and a Druddigon encounter.

This event is the debut for Druddigon in Pokemon GO, so getting a guaranteed encounter here is very great to see and worth working towards even if you don't care about the other rewards.
