Over the past year or so, Niantic seems to have realised that their old Community Day model wasn't sustainable, offering players the opportunity to catch an abundance of rare/pseudo-legendary Pokemon for a period of time.

Now, the Pokemon up for grabs are a lot more conservative, with the likes of Machop, Roselia and Swablu taking the spotlight this year.

Alongside those, we've also had a handful of repeated appearances, including Charmander and now, arriving this weekend, Eevee.

Here are all the details you need to know about the August 2021 Eevee Community Day in Pokemon GO including the dates and times it's running.

Arguably, Espeon, Vaporeon and Sylveon have the most drastic changes, with Flareon, Leafeon and Glaceon the most disappointing.

Eevee Community Day Features

The Eevee Community Day officially kicks off on Saturday, August 14, 2021, and will run from 11 am to 5 pm local time, however, this event is a little different.

The event will run for a second day, as the last Eevee Community Day did, and therefore, players will be able to take advantage during the same time period the following day, Sunday, August 15.

During this time, Eevee's Shiny Form will be more common in the wild, Eggs will have a one quarter Hatch Distance and both Lure Modules and Incense will last for three hours.

That's not all though, as, from Friday, August 13 at 10 am to Monday, August 16 at 10 am, there will be a range of different bonuses.

During this window, any Eevee that is evolved will learn the following moves, depending on what Pokemon it evolves to:

  • Vaporeon: Scald
  • Jolteon: Zap Cannon
  • Flareon: Superpower
  • Espeon: Shadow Ball
  • Umbreon: Psychic
  • Leafeon: Bullet Seed
  • Glaceon: Water Pulse
  • Sylveon: Psyshock

Alongside this, Sylveon will require only 7 hearts instead of 70 to evolve, a massive 90% reduction and there will also be Timed Research that grants both a Mossy Lure and Glacial Lure to help you evolve Eevee into Leafeon and Glaceon.
