Niantic has announced an additional 15 countries that Pokemon Go is now available in. The countries focus on Asia and Oceania, and bring the total number of countries Pokemon Go is available in to 60.

Iran has become the first country to ban Pokemon Go from distribution as determined by the High Council of Virtual Spaces for reasons yet unknown. The BBC cites “security concerns” as the reasoning though no specifics are provided by the council.
