Pokemon GO Fest 2022 A Radiant World Special Research Tasks and Rewards

Continue the mystery of the wormholes!

June 5, 2022

The second day of Pokemon GO Fest 2022 is underway and the focus has shifted a bit to the mysterious wormholes in the sky and the A Radiant World Special Research is the next step to finding out more about them and how to get your first Ultra Beast.

Players were already able to obtain the Rhi’s Arrival Special Research, but this one is not for everyone. Instead, you have to have bought a Pokemon GO Fest 2022 event ticket to get access to this Special Research.

This is the continuation of the journey into researching Ultra Beasts that are finally starting to appear in the game, starting with Nihilego.

How To Get The Special Research

The A Radiant World Special Research is a little interesting, as it’s tied to a free research that everyone can get, but you will have to have an event ticket to actually gain access to it.

To start, you need to finish the Rhi’s Arrival Special Research that you will first have access to upon signing into Pokemon GO anytime after 10:00 am local time on Sunday, June 5. This isn’t too difficult to complete and shouldn’t take long as a result.

After completing that research, those who purchased the Pokemon GO Fest 2022 event ticket will also unlock A Radiant World Special Research automatically.

A Radiant World Special Research Tasks and Rewards

As a ticket-exclusive research, this one is double the steps of the Rhi’s Arrival research. However, the sixth and final step is just a simple set of three tasks where you just have to claim your rewards, making it really only five steps worth of content.

These steps continue the research into the mysterious wormholes that are leading Nihilego, the Ultra Beast, to arrive into the game.

Thanks to Serebii, we have the full breakdown of each step below that you will need to complete.

  • MORE: Which path should you choose in the GO Fest 2022 Shaymin Special Research?

If you have completed the Special Research quickly, there are still Pokemon related to the event spawning and such, but this is the final research to come out of the first two days of Pokemon GO Fest 2022.

With this year having a special third day for GO Fest on August 27, we will have to wait and see if the Ultra Beast-themed research continues until then or if we’ll see more of them in the coming months beforehand.
