The Plains Habitat is the second of the four rotating habitats during Pokemon GO Fest 2022 and with it comes its own Collection Challenge for players to complete during the event.

For this habitat, Niantic tried to pick Pokemon that fit the theme of Plains that you will have to catch during these hours of GO Fest 2022.

To complete the Plains Collection Challenge, there are nine total Pokemon for you to catch, and will give you rewards in return after finishing.

When Is The Event?

Pokemon GO Fest 2022 starts this weekend on Saturday, June 4, and will run through Sunday, June 5. Each of the two days will have the event live from 10:00 am local time until 6:00 pm local time.

During the hours of the event will also be a special Plains Collection Challenge for you to complete that will be available throughout the weekend. Just get it done before the final Plains hour on Sunday and you should be good to go.

How To Complete The Plains Habitat Collection Challenge

The Plains Collection Challenge for Pokemon GO Fest 2022 features nine different Pokemon for you to collect. All of these are Pokemon that will be spawning in the wild during the Plains hour without the need for the event ticket.

Below is the full list of Pokemon that you will need to catch for the Plains Collection Collection.

  • Buizel
  • Drilbur
  • Girafarig
  • Larvitar
  • Litleo
  • Numel
  • Patrat
  • Shelmet
  • Trapinch

By completing the Plains Collection Challenge, you will be rewarded with 2,200 Stardust, 1x Incense, and an Axew encounter. Axew is definitely one of the most sought-after Pokemon during this event due to it making its shiny debut, so that will be worth getting an extra try at.

Dunsparce, Rufflet, Axew, and Costumed Pikachu will be spawning during the Plains hours of the event, but are not required to complete the Plains Collection Challenge.
