Trainers gather around. Yes, even you Team Mystic. Today, developer Niantic announced that the first wave of new Pokémon for Pokémon GO are coming, with details about said wave planned for December 12th. It wasn't specfied whether or not December 12th will also be the day the new Pokémon will be released, but it is possible.

In addition to this news, Niantic also announced that is has partnered with Sprint "to create a special Pokémon GO experience" at over 10,500 Sprint locations all around the United States. Further, as part of the collaboration, Sprint, Boost Mobile, and Sprint at Radioshack stores will become PokéStops and Gyms. Because, you know, because what's better than battiling a gym while also being sold on a new phone? Not much, I tell ya.

Sprint locations will also feature in-store charging stations.
