Pokemon GO has been, well, literally on the go for five years and it shows no signs of slowing down anytime soon. Of course, this is music to the ears of Pokemon fans as the current season two has approached bringing with it new raids, new Pokemons popping up, and even pink Deerling? If you're looking to add a Wurmple, a cute little bug-type Pokemon from the third generation that evolves into Silcoon or Cascoon, to your Pokedex, you’re in luck. Here's everything you need to know on how to evolve it and if there's an evolution trick needed.

How do you Evolve a Wurmple?

Once players collect 12 Wurmple candies, they can then start the process of evolving their Wurmple but it's sometimes not as easy as it sounds. You won't exactly know what it will evolve into as it's completely random but it will either be Cascoon, which will evolve into Dustox after 50 Wurmple candy, or Silcoon, which evolves into Beautifly. Pokemon Go players could even have to evolve a number of Wurmple's before getting both Silicoon and Cascoon. If your Wurmple happens to be donning a costume, you may find it won't evolve at all.

Is there an Evolution Trick?

There’s no “trick” to evolving these Pokemon nor a night/day method like there is with Eevee. All you can do is to cross your fingers and hope that it's enough to evolve your Wurmple but thankfully, they are easy enough to find, and catching one isn't too tricky as they pop up all over the place so you can get the desired evolution.
