Pokemon GO Luminous Legends X Event - Start Time, Research, Rewards
Pokemon GO’s Season of Legends has felt like a non-stop barrage of events since it began all the way back in March.
We’ve had Charge Up, Searching For Legends, Pokemon GO Snap Celebration and many, many more.
Now, however, players have something to look forward to as we’re on the precipice of a very exciting event – Luminous Legends X.
The event has a major focus on two very rare Pokemon types – Fairy and Dragon and will see a bunch of new Pokemon released. Here are all the details you should know ahead of the new Pokemon GO Luminous Legends X event, including start time and more.

Pokemon GO Luminous Legends X Event Start Date and Time
Players looking to get stuck into this brand new event, fortunately, won’t have too much longer to wait.
It kicks off worldwide on Tuesday, April 4 and players will be able to take part from 10 am in their local time zones.
It’s a fairly lengthy event and will run for just under two weeks, finishing on Monday, May 17 at 8 pm local time.
Pokemon GO Luminous Legends Pokemon
It’s been confirmed that plenty of new Pokemon will be making their first appearance during this event. They are as follows:
- Goomy, Sliggoo, Goodra
- Spritzee, Aromatisse
- Swirlix, Slurpuff
- Pancham, Pangoro (Providing the group task is completed)
Alongside these, Niantic has confirmed that other Dragon and Fairy-type Pokemon would be appearing more commonly in the wild, these include; Bagon, Cottonee, Dratini, Ralts and more.
A selection of the aforementioned types will also be hatching from 7km eggs, including Azurill, Cleffa, Gible, Igglybuff, Spritzee and Swirlix.
Raids will also include some Psychic, Dragon and Fairy-types including Alolan Exeggutor and Galarian Ponyta.

Event Bonuses, Research and Rewards
Throughout the event, trainers will have to come together to complete a Global Challenge. This challenge tasks players with catching 500 million Fairy-type Pokemon by May 9.
Upon completion, everybody will earn a bunch of rewards including:
- 3x Catch XP
- Pancham/Pangoro release
- Shiny Galarian Ponyta release
There will also be a range of new Timed Research tasks for players to complete. Once again, we’ll update this post with all the tasks and rewards once they drop.
