While it feels like Pokemon GO's Season of Legends has been a non-stop barrage of events, it looks like we have one that is going to be worth investing a lot of time into.

The Luminous Legends X event was confirmed today and will feature a bunch of new Pokemon from two of the most popular typings - Fairy and Dragon.

The likes of Gible, Dratini and Bagon will all be appearing more frequently in the wild alongside a range of debuting monsters.

With that, let's take a look at the new Pokemon GO debuts Pancham, Xerneas, Spritzee, Swirlix and Goomy.

Pokemon GO - Best Ultra League Team, GO Battle League Season 7, April/May 2021

Pokemon GO - Pancham

The first new Pokemon in the event is Pancham - who will only be debuting if players capture 500 million Fairy-type Pokemon over the course of the event window.

Pancham is a Fighting-type Pokemon that looks like panda. It's known as the "Playful Pokemon" and evolves into Pangoro a Dark/Fighting-type Pokemon.

Spritzee

Spritzee is one of two new Fairy-type Pokemon debuting as part of the Luminous Legends X event.

Spritzee looks like an unusual pink bird and evolves into Aromatisse. These Pokemon go hand in hand with the next pair.

Swirlix

Like Spritzee, Swirlix is another Fairy-type Pokemon. It's known as the Cotton Candy Pokemon for obvious reasons.

It evolves into Slurpuff, another pure Fairy-type that looks like a meringue.

Goomy

The new Dragon-type Pokemon debuting as part of the event is Goomy.

Goomy itself looks like an amorphous blob and is part of an evolution line that includes Sliggoo and Goodra, which are both Dragon-types.

Xerneas

Arguably the pinacle of this brand new event is Xerneas, the headline Pokemon from Pokemon X.

The Fairy-type Pokemon is the first new legendary we've received in the game for quite some time and is likely to be incredibly popular in Raid Battles.
