That latest Pokemon GO event is getting underway and is an exciting crossover with the latest Pokemon movie, Secrets of the Jungle.

The movie releases on Netflix on October 8, and as they did with Pokemon: Detective Pikachu, Niantic is hosting an in-game event to celebrate.

The event is packed with content for players to get involved in, including new spawns, raid bosses, and most importantly, a brand new Mythical Pokemon in Zarude.

To get Zarude, you need to complete a Special Research Story. Here are all of the research tasks and rewards for the Search for Zarude Special Research.

Search For Zarude Special Research Task and Rewards

The mythical Zarude has finally arrived with its introduction to Pokemon GO. Following the introduction of Zacian and Zamazenta to the game recently, Zarude is the newest Pokemon in the overall Pokedex to be added into the game.

That is because Zarude wasn’t even revealed until after the release of Pokemon Sword and Shield and wasn’t even available in the game until last year to tie into the Japanese movie release. This was now followed by an event recently in tandem with the movie coming out here in the US as well with what is known as Dada Zarude.

To complete the Search for Zarude Special Research, you’re going to have to complete five steps of three tasks each for a total of 15. However, the final step is simply just claiming three rewards. These steps have been provided by Leek Duck, which you can see for yourself below.

That is it for the Search for Zarude Special Research in Pokemon GO. Make sure that you at least get the Special Research by playing during the aforementioned time periods, so that you can finish it at a later time if you are too busy to finish it in the next week and a half.

To this point, this is the only way to get Zarude in Pokemon GO, so you definitely do not want to miss out on this opportunity.
