After a very solid Community Day, Niantic is moving players into the first major Pokemon GO event of the Season of Discovery.

Rather than being focused on a type this time, however, the event is going to be focused on Pokemon that are "quite slow."

As you would expect, the event will bring about new spawns, raid bosses and a debuting Mega Pokemon.

Here are all the details you need to know about A Very Slow Discovery in Pokemon GO.

Pokemon GO A Very Slow Discovery Event Start Date and Time

Like they do, the "A Very Slow Discovery" event will be kicking off at 10 am in your local timezone on Tuesday, 8 June.

It will run for just shy of a week, finishing on Sunday, June 13 at 8 pm local time.

What's Happening in the Very Slow Discovery Event?

Alongside this, there will be some "difficult" Field Research tasks - these haven't been confirmed yet, so we will update this post when they are.
