Pokemon GO Sustainability Week Collection Challenge How To Complete And Rewards

Make sure to use the Mossy Lure Module!

April 20, 2022

Pokemon GO is celebrating the environment just in time for Earth Day with its Sustainability Week event and with that comes a brand new Collection Challenge for players to complete.

Fresh off the heels of the last Collection Challenge as part of the Spring Into Spring event is yet another one for players to take part in.

While not part of the actual Collection Challenge, Pokemon GO is getting yet another new Alolan Pokemon with the introduction of Oranguru this week.

What Is The Sustainability Week Event?

The Pokemon GO Sustainability Week event kicks off on Wednesday, April 20, at 10:00 am local time and will run through Monday, April 25, at 8:00 pm local time.

Not only will Oranguru be making its debut during this time, but there will also be increased spawns for a variety of Pokemon such as Oddish, Trubbish, and more.

As for bonuses during Sustainability Week, the only one will be getting 2x bonus XP from spinning a PokeStop for the first time. There will be some Field Research that will reward Mega Venusaur and Mega Abomasnow energy as well.

Sustainability Week Collection Challenge

Unlike last week’s Collection Challenge for the Spring Into Spring event, there are no special variations of Pokemon such as the Flower Crown ones.

Instead, there are simply six regular Pokemon for you to find and catch during the event, which are as follows.

  • Cherubi
  • Gloom
  • Grimer
  • Grotle
  • Trubbish
  • Weepinbell

By completing the Sustainability Week Collection in Pokemon GO, you will be rewarded with 10,000 XP, 15x Great Balls, and a Meganium encounter.

The key to completing this Collection Challenge is using the Mossy Lure Module, as it will be the only way to attract Gloom and Weepinbell in the wild during this event. For those that do not have any extra Mossy Lure Modules, thankfully the in-game store will be offering a free Event Box with one included for you to use.

Make sure to take advantage of this free opportunity to get some easy XP and complete this Collection Challenge before it ends next Monday.
