It seems like Niantic is looking to keep up the tradition of holding holiday events -- according to Niantic's Dev. Blog, Valentines Day will be another celebration on Pokemon GO.

Gamers still investing time in the map-based mobile game can expect the following changes for the week:

  • Double Candy reward for catching, hatching or transferring Pokemon
  • Buddy Pokemon will find Candy twice as fast
  • Chansey, Clefable, and other pink Pokemon will have a higher encounter rate
  • Cleffa, Igglybuff and Smoochum will be more likely to hatch from Eggs
  • Lure Modules will last for six hours

Of course, like all holiday celebrations this is a limited time event. People looking to take part in the holiday celebration should block off February 8 (11:00 AM PST) to February 15. Pokemon GO is available now on iOS and Android.
