Pokemon Legends Arceus received a brand new update today, fixing a bug that wouldn't allow players to successfully get the Shiny Charm in the game.

As the most recent launch from the Pokemon franchise, Pokemon Legends Arceus soon turned into a trend in the world with its release on Nintendo Switch. With millions of Pokemon fans out there, it wasn't surprising that the game turned into commercial success by reaching 6.5 million copies sold in a week.

Set in an open-world region based on the island of Hokkaido, Pokemon Legends Arceus features five different biomes, each with its very own environment that encourages players to keep exploring the world and discover more reasons to keep up playing!

Today, the game received a new update that is now available for download. This is only a small hotfix that wipes out a bug that was preventing players from getting the Shiny Charm in the game. The patch notes below will tell you how you can obtain it once you update your game to the latest version.

Pokemon Legends Arceus Update Patch Notes

  • Fixed an issue where certain conditions would prevent players from obtaining the Shiny Charm even if they met the requirements. After updating the game, players who experienced this issue can obtain the Shiny Charm by speaking with Professor Laventon inside Galaxy Hall in Jubilife Village provided they meet the requirements.

Other than the above, no changes have been applied to the game. However, if you are facing any technical issues after the update, make sure to report it to the support team behind the game.
