Back in May, Game Freak and The Pokémon Company revealed the next two installments in the Pokémon series. During Nintendo's E3 2018 Direct, they dropped some more information on us about Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Pokémon: Let’s Go, Eevee! due out later this year. With every Poké Ball Plus purchase comes Mew, which they also tweeted just after the announcement.

The Poké Ball Plus will be compatible with both games in their entirety. Its motion control capability allows players to move the Poké Ball like they are throwing it when wild Pokémon appear. When they are caught, the Poké Ball Plus will light up and vibrate, and you'll hear the Pokémon's cry. When the Poké Ball Plus is shaken, the Pokémon inside will make a sound.

In addition to working for Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Pokémon: Let’s Go, Eevee! the Poké Ball Plus will be compatible for Pokémon GO. As long as your Poké Ball Plus is connected to your smartphone and the Pokémon GO app, it will also count your steps so you can hatch Eggs and get Candy for your Buddy Pokémon.

Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Pokémon: Let’s Go, Eevee! will launch later this year on November 16th exclusively for Nintendo Switch. Head over to Amazon to pre-order Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu!
