After months of rumors and speculation, Game Freak and The Pokemon Company have finally unveiled the next two installments of the Pokémon series: Pokémon: Let's Go, Pikachu! and Pokémon: Let's Go, Eevee!

As shown in the game's reveal trailer, Pokémon: Let's Go, Pikachu! and Pokémon: Let's Go, Eevee! will take players back to the first-generation region of Kanto and will include integration of elements from Pokemon Go. Much like the mobile title, players will be able to use the Joy-Con's motion functionality to imitate the motion of throwing PokeBall at various Pokemon.

The Pokemon Go crossovers don't end there, however. Players will now be able to transfer Pokemon that they have captured via Pokemon Go into both Pokémon: Let's Go, Pikachu! and Pokémon: Let's Go, Eevee!. While specifics on how this will work haven't yet been divulged, the trailer seems to showcase it as a simple process.

Lastly, Pokémon: Let's Go, Pikachu! and Pokémon: Let's Go, Eevee! will both be compatible with a new PokeBall-syle controller called the PokeBall Plus. This controller can be used to play each title in its entirety, but also seems to double as a Pokewalker. It's uncertain how this controller will function specifically when taking it on the go, but we'll surely learn more soon.
