You Can Get This Awesome Pokemon: Let's Go Steelbook on Monday

Nintendo is partnering with Best Buy to bring fans an exclusive Let's Go, Pikachu and Eevee Steelbook they can for free with a purchase of either game.

Yesterday, Nintendo revealed that Pokémon fans could pick up a special Steelbook case when they buy a copy of either Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! or Pokémon: Let’s Go, Eevee! at Best Buy. You can take a look at the case for yourself down below.

The Steelbook itself looks really cool, featuring some lovely artwork of Pikachu on one side and Eevee on the other. I’ve never been a huge fan of Nintendo Switch Steelbooks personally as they can be pretty hard to display considering they almost always never have text on the side of the case. It’s little things like that that really kills buying them for me personally.

As a tip from someone who worked at Best Buy, employees can be pretty incompetent when it comes to gaming pre-order bonuses or special offers. What I’d recommend doing is going into your store’s gaming section and asking an employee to grab you the special case and game. Sometimes having an image of what you’re looking for can be handy if the employee seems clueless. Also, while working there, I found that we never usually got huge shipments of any pre-order bonuses or promotional items so be sure to head over to Best Buy on Monday if you’re dead set on getting one.

The Let’s Go games are the first Pokémon titles to make it onto the Nintendo Switch. But many aspects of Pokémon were casualized in Let’s Go, making it feel a little different from what fans are used to. Thankfully, later this year Nintendo will be releasing a core Pokémon title exclusively on the Switch.

Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Pokémon, Let’s Go Eevee! are available now exclusively on the Nintendo Switch.
