Following Pokemon Masters announcement during The Pokemon Company's press conference back in May and a longer presentation on the game last month, we have a new trailer that shows off more gameplay.

The trailer mainly highlights the 3-on-3 trainer battles and the trainers players can fight alongside with. Among the trainers featured are Brock, Misty, and Cynthia. Additionally, each of these trainers has one Pokemon to fight alongside with. Here's the official description of how the gameplay in Pokemon Masters works: "Hone your skills by joining forces with two other players for cooperative play against AI opponents. During these co-op battles, players can unleash a devestating unity attack that isn't available in the single player mode. After assembling your dream team, see which trainers can also appear in a special outift called a sygna suit. Trainers in Sygna suits have a different partner Pokemon than when they're in their standard outfit."

Another aspect of Pokemon Masters is the Pokemon Masters League, which features 3-on-3 battles that take place in the island of Pasio. These tournaments feature famous gym leaders, elite four members, and champions from throughout Pokemon's history. The goal of these battles is to obtain badges and become the champion.

Developed by Pokemon Go developer DeNA, Pokemon Masters is set to launch on iOS and Android sometime this summer. Recently in other Pokemon news, Detective Pikachu became the highest grossing video game movie of all time and developer Game Freak commented on the controversy surrounding the National Pokedex in Pokemon Sword and Shield. If more news comes out about Pokemon Masters, we'll be sure to let you know.
