Pokemon is a series that has its roots firmly planted in the hearts of millions. The games have been taking people by storm for years now, and when a new title or remake is announced, the fandom goes nuts.

The amount of work put into every new game is astonishing and players always know that the main Pokemon titles always offer a quality experience. With the latest games being remakes of 2003’s Sapphire and Ruby (two of the most beloved games in the franchise aside from Crystal) gamers have been foaming at the mouth to see what new improvements are being made to the graphics and user interface.

Below are screenshots that compare the original games, to the new remade versions. Check them out to see what you’re in for when Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire drop later this year.

One of the few Anime Nerds that won't scare you off during a conversation. A gamer that is, and has always been open to trying new experiences regardless of the resolution or company behind the game. Whether he's fighting pink stretchy aliens as Goku, battling reanimated ninjas as Naruto, or warding off swarms of hollowed soldiers as the Chosen Undead, this gamer loves to take the role of the hero in any genre.
