In Pokemon Scarlet & Violet, there are a lot of great fire types you can add to your party. Some of them take time to level up to a point where they can evolve, while others can evolve using a Fire Stone. Here are the Pokemon that you can use the Fire Stone on, and where you can buy the stones you’ll need.

Fire Stone Evolutions

Capsakid, Eevee, and Growlithe evolve using Fire Stone

The first Pokemon on the list is Capsakid. This plant-type Pokemon is one of the last ones you’d think to use a Fire Stone on, but that is the only way to get them to evolve into Scovillain. Once evolved, you will be able to use both plant and fire attacks with the same Pokemon.

Next on the list is Eevee. When you use a Fire Stone on an Eevee, they will evolve into Flareon. This evolution is pretty straightforward, but the only thing you will want to be mindful of is their friendship level. To avoid Eevee from organically evolving into some of its other forms, make sure you use the Fire Stone on them as soon as possible.

The final Pokemon on the list is Growlithe. Using a Fire Stone on them will cause them to evolve into their much larger and scarier form - Arcanine.

Where To Find A Fire Stone

Fire Stone Option in Delibird Store

There are a couple of surefire ways to get your hands on a Fire Stone. The easiest is to buy one from a Delibird shop for 3000 Poke Dollars. They will become available in every Delibird shop once you have earned three or more gym badges.

The other method to acquire a few Fire Stones is by finding them in the wild. They can be found from random drops in any areas where fire-type Pokemon regularly spawn. The most common areas to find them are East Province Area 2 and Area 3. Just look for the fire symbol icon on the map and start searching there.
