2017 is already showing to be a strong year for Wii U's virtual console, with Nintendo 64's Pokemon Snap making its North American debut.

Created by HAL Laboratory and Pax Softnica in 1999, Pokemon Snap is easily one of the most beloved games in the series -- and N64, generally speaking. Pokemon Snap is no stranger to Wii U's Virtual Console; the game was released last year for both Japan and Europe.

Like most N64 Virtual Console games, Pokemon Snap will sell for $9.99 (or, alternatively, $2 if you have already purchased the Nintendo Wii version). If only we could see the Nintendo 3DS version of it come to fruition.
