Pokémon Sun and Moon Trailer Reveals Starter Z-Moves, New Ultra Beasts and Regional Diglett Variant

Pokémon Sun and Moon launch in North America and Japan on November 18, and while we wait, the Pokémon Company today released a new trailer showcasing exclusive starter Z-Moves, two new Ultra Beasts and, well, a Diglett with hair — no joke.

All three starting Pokémon will have exclusive Z-Moves: Decidueye rains arrows on its opponents with Sinister Arrow Raid; Inceneroar crushes its foes with Malicious Moonsault, an explosive body slam; and Primarina’s classy Oceanic Operetta bursts a giant water bubble onto its adversaries.

The new Ultra Beasts are UB-03 Lightening, a weird-looking electric-charged monster that could totally be an ugly distant cousin of Sudowoodo, and the massive tank-like UB-05 Glutton.

And last but most certainly not least: Diglett and Dugtrio have hair — well, Diglett has three little strains while Dugtrio has full-blown fancy AF rockstar hair. This region just keeps getting more bizarre. These Ground/Steel Pokémon have the abilities Sand Veil and Tangling Hair.

Pokémon Sun and Moon is only on 3DS. Check out today’s trailer below:
