New Pokémon Sun and Moon Commercial Shows How you Throw your Pokéball with Masahiro Tanaka

on November 15, 2016 10:28 AM

Want to learn how to throw your pokéball like the pros in Pokémon Sun and Moon? Forget flicking the screen of your smartphone. Enter Pokémon trainer Masahiro Tanaka, who also happens to be (in his spare time) the starting pitcher of the New York Yankees, pretty much embodying the dream of every Japanese adolescent, ever.

Of course, the commercial doesn’t just come with a high-level testimonial, but it also shows quite a bit of gameplay, themed on throwing pokéballs.

Pokémon Sun and Moon releases in North America and Japan on November 18th, while European gamers will have to wait for the 23rd. In the meanwhile, you can check out our own review here.
