Pokemon Sun & Moon Moves Banned Online to Prevent Crashes

Pokemon Sun and Pokemon Moon have been out nearly two weeks, however bugs are continuing to unearth themselves. In a recent update to the Battle Spot — Pokemon‘s online battling community — both the moves Memento and Parting Shot have been temporarily banned from all lobbies. According to Nintendo, this is because the Z-Powered versions of the moves have the tendency to crash the game.

However, as mentioned above, this should only be a temporary measure — when Nintendo works out the kinks, the will likely be returning the functionality. In other words, don’t start rearranging your Battle Party just yet.

Pokemon Sun and Pokemon Moon released exclusively on Nintendo 3DS on November 18, 2016. DualShockers reviewed both copies of the game, noting they are “a relaxing adventure away from a tried-and-true formula that is as rewarding as ever.”
