The official Pokemon Japanese Twitter account announced new information for the Pokemon Sword and Shield Expansion Pass is coming tomorrow, June 2. The reveal will be happening at 22:00 JST. Click here for a time conversion table.

The tweet mentions we'll be getting brand new details. This should be via a live stream like usual. This is a good move by Nintendo and The Pokemon Company in order to hype things up as the Expansion Pass draws near. We should get an actual launch date for the first part of the Expansion Pass too. The first expansion DLC, titled The Isle of Armor, is only planned "to launch by the end of June" as I'm writing this. The second part, titled The Crown Tundra, is planned to launch in "Fall 2020". There's also a promotional stunt going on with the Expansion Pass until August 31: You'll get a bonus costume by buying it before then.

The first details on the Pokemon Sword and Shield Expansion Pass were revealed during the random surprise Nintendo Direct Mini back in March. You can read all about it through our previous coverage here.

Pokemon Sword and Shield first launched on Nintendo Switch on November 15, 2019. You can check out our review here.

As a side note, in case you missed it, Hellboy's Mike Mignola recently started redesigning multiple Pokemon over on Twitter, for surprising results.
