Earlier today Nintendo announced the Nintendo Switch Lite, a smaller handheld-only version of the popular platform. The Switch Lite later this year in a variety of different colors, but a limited edition version for Pokémon Sword and Shield will also be releasing alongside the game.

Titled as the "Zacian and Zamazenta Edition" the Switch Lite features a gray body with the directional pad and analog stick feature an ocean blue color while the A/B/Y/X buttons and analog stick on the right side replicate a cherry red. The rest of the buttons are a lighter gray compared to the main color of the system. The back of the handheld shows off a sketch of both new legendary Pokemon Zacian and Zamazenta.

Pokémon Sword and Shield, strangely enough, are not included with the Zacian and Zamazenta Edition so you'll have to buy or pre-order those games separately if you haven't already.

The Nintendo Switch Lite is set to release on September 20, but if you're setting out to get the Zacian and Zamazenta Edition you will have to wait a little bit longer as that version does not release until November 8. Whichever you decide to get, it will cost you $200. As an owner of the Let's Go Pikachu/Eevee Switch that released with the game late last year, I hope that the normal Switch will still receive cool special editions like this one.

Pre-orders for the Nintendo Switch Lite are not live as of yet but should be available relatively soon. Pokémon Sword and Shield release on November 15 exclusively on Nintendo Switch.
