It looks like we will be getting another round of information on Pokemon Sword and Pokemon Shield soon. Over the past few months, The Pokemon Company has hosted "Galar Research Updates" that reveal new information about the upcoming Nintendo Switch console exclusives. Today, yet another one was teased on the official Pokemon Twitter account:

The technical issue the tweet is likely referring to is a blurred out picture and webpage for a yet to be announced Pokemon on the official website for Pokemon Sword and Pokemon Shield. As of now, all we know about this Pokemon is that it is fighting type, weighs 257.9 pounds, and has the ability Steadfast, which increases a Pokemon's speed if they flinch. While we don't know what this Pokemon is, one popular theory is that this is Sirfetch'd, a supposedly leaked Galarian evolution of Generation 1 Pokemon Farfetch'd. Though that seems somewhat unlikely, Zigzagoon and Linoone did receive their own Galarian-exclusive evolution in Obstagoon.

Whatever this Pokemon ends up being, DualShockers will be sure to let you know what it is when it is revealed. Pokemon Sword and Pokemon Shield release exclusively for Nintendo Switch on November 15, 2019 and can be pre-ordered on Amazon.Â
