Pokémon the Series: XY is Coming to Cartoon Network January 18th

Pokémon fans get ready to start celebrating next year…well three weeks from now; Pokémon the Series: XY will make its Cartoon Network debut on January 18th at 8:30 a.m. ET/PT. The new series will follow beloved hero Ash Ketchum’s journey to the Kalos region, which is the location of the Pokémon X and Y video game.

However, that’s not all the network has in store. Fans of Mewtwo should be especially pleased for there will be two movies and an animated special which will air earlier in the month, focusing on the Mew clone.

Pokémon: The First Movie will air January 4th at 8:30 a.m. ET/PT. The animated special, Pokémon: Mewtwo – Prologue to Awakening, will air January 11th, also at 8:30 a.m. ET/PT. Pokémon the Movie: Genesect and the Legend Awakened will immediately follow the special at 9:00 a.m. ET/PT.

Despite her secret desire of wanting to give it all up to become a gorgeous billionaire, Dana is most passionate about video games and films often times getting in many heated debates resulting in being thrown out of many gatherings. Despite having a degree in English AND Journalism (multi-tasking FTW!) from the University at Albany-SUNY, she is currently interested in perusing a degree at Yale Law School, because one should never give up on a dream of becoming a gorgeous billionaire...and knowing how to sue someone as a result of those heated debates
