Since their inception a few years ago, the Nintendo Direct broadcasts have acted as the indicators that big things are coming from the House of Mario, with another Direct set for this week to focus exclusively on all things Pokemon.
Nintendo announced that a Nintendo Direct broadcast will be coming this week on February 26th, 2016 at 7am PT/10am ET, with the broadcast to focus specifically on Pokemon, most likely in collaboration with the ongoing events for the series’ 20th anniversary celebration.
This month kickstarted several celebrations of the series’ 20th anniversary, such as an epic Super Bowl commercial and the rereleases of Pokemon Red/Blue/Yellow on the 3DS eShop coming next week, though it seems that the Direct may also hold some other surprises in store, providing either a closer look at upcoming titles like Pokken Tournament, or hopefully a new game reveal.
The next Nintendo Direct broadcast on Pokemon will be taking place on February 26th, 2016 at 7am PT/10am ET.
