When is the Pokemon Unite Update and How to Update the Game.

The Pokemon Unite update will be taking place on August 4 at 7 am UTC (12 am PT/3 am ET/8 am BST).

Updating the game is incredibly simple and players will simply need to restart the title after that time for the changes to take effect. Hopping back to the Switch home screen and pressing X on the icon is the easiest method.

Analysis

Overall, this is probably a good move for the meta. I’m sure people would have preferred if Zeraora would have received more of a nerf but other than that, there can be no major complaints.

Venusaur was one of the most underpowered Pokemon, so it will be interesting to see if it starts to take its place in the meta now.
