Pokemon Winter Tournaments Detailed

Pokemon tournament battlers have some competition to look forward to with the 2012 VGCS Winter Battle beginning soon. There will be limited spots so gamers will have until December 13th 6:59 PM EST to register before the competition begins at 7:00 PM.

The tournament will have players battling through the Global Battle Union Wi-Fi Competition with the top finishers earning byes at live events for the Video Game Championship Series. Those that make their way onto the leaderboard earn a Custap Berry that gives the holder a likely chance of striking first when low on health.

The tournament runs from December 13th to December 17th and players can play as often as they want to reach the top of the leaderboards. To compete players will need a copy of Pokemon Black 2 and White 2, a Pokemon Trainer Club account, and Internet access.
