Today Nintendo released a brand new trailer of its upcoming fighting game Pokkén Tournament DX.

The trailer shows some of the Pokémon that will make their appearance in the game, some classic, some from newer games. We get Pikachu, Charizard, Decidueye and More.

Of course we also get the usual tirade about enjoying the game anytime, anywhere, and about the simple controls and local multiplayer on two separate Joy-Con controllers.

Pokkén Tournament DX is a new remaster created for the Nintendo Switch of Pokkén Tournament for Wii U. It’s developed by Bandai Namco under the supervision of fighting game guru Katsuhiro Harada of Tekken fame. The original version was also released in Japanese, and is still playable in several of them.

It's the second major remaster of a Wii U game after Mario Kart Deluxe, and since that one definitely worked well for Nintendo, it's not surprising that they're trying again with Pokkén Tournament.

You can check out the trailer below, and if you want to see more of the game, you can check out another trailer featuring Darkai, one featuring Scizor, and one featuring Mewtwo, on top of another semi-recent video showcasing the game’s features, and plenty of gameplay from E3.
