Strategy title This is the Police will be making its way to mobile devices later this year through a port that's being handled by HandyGames.

THQ Nordic's law based title was originally released back in 2016 and has seen a number of ports since. The game puts you in the shoes of Jack Boyd, the Chief of Police at Freeburg PD. Voiced by Duke Nukem's Jon St. John, Boyd is tasked with gaining a whopping half a million dollars in just 180 days before he settles into retirement. In order to do so, he must walk along the thin line between law and crime, dealing with the mob and crooked politicians along the way. The way the game plays out weighs heavily on the decisions that the player makes throughout.

The mobile port of the game will cost a one-time fee and will then allow gamers to play it anytime, anywhere with or without an internet connection. On top of this, there will be no loot boxes, gambling, or microtransactions of any kind within the game. The port will also be ad-free too.

This is the Police will launch on iOS and Android on December 13, 2018. It is currently available on PC, Linux, and Mac. It is also available on consoles including Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
