Xbox has shared a launch trailer for Polygod, a minimalist first-person shooter game developed by Krafted Games that will be available to play later this week.

Polygod is a randomly generated single and multiplayer game that combines the fast-paced gameplay associated with Quake and the difficulty and power-up system of The Binding of Isaac. In the game, players are a Faceless One, a one-armed, gun-wielding assassin who must defeat the Trial of the Gods in order to ascend to Godhood.

The seven deities of the game test player’s skill with randomly generated areas full of hostile minions and brutal Holy Champion boss fights. Each arena also features five Altars of Worship that offer Blessings, such as unique gun effects, that players can buy in exchange for the Souls that they have collected on their journeys by killing different enemies.

You can check out the trailer below. Polygod is currently in Early Access on Steam, and it will be available for Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC on Friday, August 17th.
