While Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare received free DLC this week to expand on the game’s map selections and character abilities, problems arose from the new content causing various bugs and game crashes to occur.
Garden Warfare Creative Director Justin Wiebe addressed through Twitter that PopCap has been working on bug fixes internally to correct issues that players have been having with the new DLC on Xbox One and Xbox 360.
Wiebe mentioned that after running patch tests positively, the studio will roll out the update to Xbox One shortly, but that a fix for the Xbox 360 version might take slightly longer – in the meantime, some of the maps from the DLC will be taken out of rotation on multiplayer to avoid any issues.
Patch tests are good. We will be rolling out the patch to the servers tonight which will also restore prev economy and balance tuning.
