In a recent update to the PoPoLoCrois: Narcia's Tears and the Fairy's Flute (try saying that five times fast) official website by Sega, some of the game's characters were introduced in the latest mobile incarnation of the PoPoLoCrois series.

The main narrative of PoPoLoCrois: Narcia's Tears and the Fairy's Flute appears to follow the quest of young heir apparent and half-dragon Prince Pietro, who is described as being laid back and cherishing Narcia the most. Narcia herself is the Forest Witch of Flornel Forest, is a powerful magic-user and possesses Faerie blood.

Other characters include the wandering White Knight, the "Great Devil King" Gami Gami Devil and religious pilgrim Zamado. It's an interesting cast and crew of characters, and you can check out more about them at the official website here.

PoPoLoCrois: Narcia's Tears and the Fairy's Flute is currently in development for iOS and Android with no official word on a western release. You can follow and preregister for the game on the Popolo Twitter account. The last entry in the PoPoLoCrois series was Return to PopoloCrois: A Story of Seasons Fairytale released in 2016 on the Nintendo 3DS, which was released in North America and Europe soon after. If you missed it and need something to binge on a handheld, you can grab that version on Amazon.
