Square Enix Japan has teased the next big expansion for PowerWash Simulator in a new tweet, as players are set to travel to Midgar and clear the dirt covering Cloud's bike and Tifa's bar in the memorable world of Final Fantasy 7.

This is the second crossover expansion for PowerWash Simulator following the release of the Tomb Raider DLC, which is set to arrive later today. Currently, there is no official release date for Midgar Special Pack, as a global announcement is yet to be made outside of the Square Enix Japan Twitter account.

PowerWash Simulator was originally launched on Xbox consoles and PC in the Summer of 2022. Today, the developers are celebrating the game's launch on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch, along with the arrival of Tomb Raider DLC for free on all platforms.

The upcoming Midgar Special Pack will include Cloud's Hardy-Daytona bike, Tifa's Seventh Heaven bar, and the first main boss of the game, Guardian Scorpion. Similar to Tomb Raider DLC, the trip to Midgar will be available for free to all owners of the game.

As Square Enix is the publisher of PowerWash Simulator, the continued collaborations between PowerWash Simulator and other Square Enix-published titles should come as no surprise. Although nothing is confirmed past Final Fantasy 7, there's a high chance that further collaborations are made in the future. In case you want to give it a whirl, the game is currently available for free to all Xbox/PC Game Pass subscribers.

PowerWash Simulator raised to fame soon after its launch as it touches one of the most satisfying feelings of humans: clearing dirt. Although the whole gameplay circles around aiming a power wash machine toward dirty surfaces to make them shine, it is still satisfying enough that players are always after more surfaces to clean.

FuturLab, the developer behind PowerWash Simulator, previously developed Peaky Blinders: Mastermind and Mini-Mech Mayhem, but neither of these titles quite reached the same level of success as PowerWash Simulator. Unfortunately, Peaky Blinders: Mastermind has been delisted from Steam as the license for the game's title and characters has expired.

Following the release of Forspoken, PowerWash Simulator will be the latest Square Enix release to hit PlayStation consoles this month.
