Square's pre-order DLC train rolls on, this time with their upcoming futuristic third-person shooter game (no, not that one) Mindjack. Worry not, however: these bonuses are universal, and don't require you to set foot in GameStop. All you have to do is pre-order the game from just about any retailer (they mention Amazon, Best Buy, and GameStop specifically, as well as the game's official website) and you'll get access to the exclusive "Ability Pack" DLC, which promises increased mobility in the game.
The Ability Pack includes:
- Unlimited Dash
- Instant High Voltage
- Elite FIA Soldier Suit
Those first two sound uh, kind of game breaking to be honest. You can run as much as you want, and travel faster in "hunt for suckers to mind control" mode? I guess they're hoping the bright metallic gold FIA suit will balance things out by making you blindingly obvious to every enemy in the game. Anyway, Mindjack will be hitting Xbox 360 and PS3 on January 18 of next year.
