GameStop thrives off of used game sales. I mean, this is practically common knowledge. You may not have known just how far this extends. In three months, ending with October, pre-owned sales pulled in 530 million dollars. This is approximately 47.5% of profit.

Now, with that information in mind, consider that new games have pulled in less than 200 million dollars in the same stretch of time. That’s much less than half of the used games sales. Something has to happen about this used games business. Who knew that reselling someone else's property could be so profitable?
