Prepare to Let Go the Haul for Fig’s Crowdfunding Campaign for Make Sail

Crowdfunding platform Fig announced recently their campaign for indie exploring/survival game, Make Sail. True to the title, the adventure takes place mainly on the open seas where you can construct your rig on the fly and then set off in search of land.

The two man team at Popcannibal have put physics and construction at the forefront of their game; as you explore you’ll come across new raft pieces which you can mix and match to your heart’s content. But utilizing these pieces effectively will be key as water buoyancy and wind drafts have been programmed in to make this a true sailing sim.

Make Sail looks like a much more relaxed yet strategic version of Sea of Thieves which is a cool combination. The fact that your traversal across waters and land in search of booty and dangers will be procedurally generated is also a nice plus. Popcannibal is looking to raise $50,000 USD by November 3rd for a PC and Mac release. With half of that already collected in a few days, it looks like the wind truly is in their sails.
